Chad Frost

Chad Frost
AASI Snowboard Team

After 20 years teaching snowboarding, and upon entering his second term on the AASI National Team, Chad says, "I am still trying to figure out what my career is."

Over these two decades, Chad and his snowboard have traveled across the country, and beyond. In 1995, he spent a season lost in the fog in Les Trois Vallees, in the Savoie Region of France, and in 2003, attended Interski 2003 in Crans-Montana, Switzerland. Back in the United States, Chad has performed instructor training for areas across the nation, including resorts in Colorado, Utah, California, Alaska, Minnesota, Oregon, Idaho, Washington, and Wisconsin. Eager to continue his national snowboard instruction crusade, Chad says, "I am ready to go anywhere at anytime to work with anyone who is ready to have their life changed by sliding with Frost on snow!"

In addition to duties as AASI-NW Chairman, Examiner, Divisional Clinic Leader, Chad teaches at Stevens Pass, Washington, and Aspen, Colorado. He was also involved with developing the AASI-NW Freestyle Accreditation Program.

Fully certified in Telemark, alpine, and snowboard instruction, Chad is an all-around athlete, enjoying windsurfing, golf, mountain biking, skateboarding, and surfing.

Chad's vision of the role of an AASI team member is to "inspire passion for the winter experience and to use professional skills and practical experience to help further develop snowboard instruction while traveling to all corners of the USA."
