Step right up and get your 15 minutes of fame! Here's your chance to be immortalized in the pages of The Pro Rider, AASI's magazine for snowboard instructors, by snowboard instructors.
The last page of every issue of The Pro Rider features a profile of an AASI member, complete with answers to some of the most probing questions known to snowboarder kind, like "What song title best describes your philosophy on life?" and "What did your parents really want you to do with your life?" You've probably seen this in the magazine and asked yourself, "Hey, how come they've never asked me to fill out that questionnaire?" Well, now we are.
Questions for the upcoming issue's "Pro File" appear below. Take a few minutes to fill out the form, waxing philosophic about your journey to self-actualization as a snowboard instructor or just ripping off some funny answers that would make David Letterman weep with jealousy. And while you're at it, please dig through your shoebox (or computer files) of radical snowboarding photos of yourself and send us a couple: one that shows a close-up of your bright and shiny face and an action shot of you snowboarding. (The address is listed at the end of the questionnaire.)
The magazine editors will pick the cream of the crop and place the winning submission on the back page of the magazine. But wait, there's more! The winning entrant also gets a check for $50.
